Overshadowed

The acting is awful, the content seems amazing. Any thoughts?

I thought the most compelling feature was that early on you see her with a group of 3 friends and only gradually does it dawn on you that only 2 of them are "real" - the 3rd one is the illness, encouraging her in all her anorexic behaviours and becoming gradually more demanding and ever-present. This was powerful and corresponded to things my daughter has told me about her experience of the illness.
