NHS dietician - what to expect?

I have recently lost over 2 stone and gone from 10 and a half to 8 and a half. I am tall so this had sent my bmi to 17.8. I have just started sertraline for anxiety so am hoping this will help me to relax and eat more. I have an appointment next week with a dietician and am feeling apprehensive. What will they want to know? I find it really hard to talk about what I have eaten or not eaten but am starting to realise that I might need help with this. Thanks to anyone who can help or make me feel less nervous about going.

They will probably weigh you and devise a meal plan with you. They aren't usually well-educated about vegetarianism/veganism etc so if you're either of those, be prepared for that.

Just be totally honest about what you eat, it'll save a whole lot of confusion, trust me. If you struggle to finish meals etc let them know that as well.

All the best x

Thanks, Not a vegetarian so no issues there. Still not sure about putting weight back on but I think I am ready to try. I know I need to be honest but it's hard to admit how little I eat some days.
