Hi, Sorry I'm here a lot at the moment. Here goes, DD 15, BMI 17. She hasn't started her periods yet, we discussed it last night, and she now thinks it's going to be too late, and she's done damage to herself and made herself infertile. I don't think that's the case, but just want to check. Is there a window of time that her periods have to start by, otherwise she'll be infertile?
Thanks in advance

I was very similar at that age and didn't start my periods until very late and had a similar bmi.
I would see your GP and get their opinion. She might just be a late starter. Even though my weight has been low (lowest bmi recently 16) my periods have continued throughout.
