Hi people.
I'm looking to chat with people who suffer from selective eating disorder (SED) I'm a guy that has suffered it for many years an want to understand it better, an see how other people live with it and how it affects them. ??

There is a Facebook page I'm on for my son which is purely about SED. It's great as thee are other adults on there and not only parents asking in regards their kids.

I genuinely got excited when I read this thread title, I have SED!
Definitely have a look on the facebook page, the one I look at is a closed group so facebook friends can't see what you are posting on there if that is a worry
Feel free to PM me if you'd like to

Living with SED (Selective Eating Disorder) is the Facebook group name.

I've didn't know that it was an actual thing with an actual name!
Just looked it up and it describes my view of eating perfectly! As a child I was labelled a fussy eater and doctors intervened. As a teen I went through what I describe as spells of anorexia (I'd eat nothing for long periods of time until I was forced to eat). As an adult I have a rubbish to non existent relationship with food. I desperately want to put on weight but just don't seem to have that thing that makes me eat, not just appetite but something else.
How very interesting!
