we are contemplating a big move from the south east to southern Wales. Husband works from home for auto glass for the past 9 years so a job for him is sorted and he can work anywhere, I run my own dog walking buisness, I really I’d like to start it back up, failing that I’ll be looking for part time work in the area.
my daughter is currently 10 although we don’t plan to move until 12-18 months time so we have time to spend time where we fancy in all seasons to ensure it’s the right choice for us. Budget 250-300k we need a garden, 2 bed is fine as we are a small family of three, not afraid of a project however, currently live in a family farm rural, which is where I’ve been my whole 35 years but I want to move on now. We have dogs so a vets within half hour or 45 mins max really.
Been to Wales quite a few times over the past few years and really love it there, i love the people too, I’ve been to Monmouth, Abergavenny, Cardiff and Swansea.
we love Abergavenny but wouldnt want to live in the town as such, are there any villages or rural areas in a reasonable proximity in that area? Or even further down towards Swansea, Open to any suggestions really.
not been to Pembrokeshire but it looks nice, is there much going on down that way?
