ShwmaeSmile.

Just found out that a new series of Craith is starting soon on s4c and wondering what other Welsh Telly we're all watching.

The only thing I regularly watch is Pobol y Cwm but I miss dramas like Gwyll and 35 Diwrnod.

Quite liked the one set in the Senedd but can't remember what it was called. Written by Meic Povey.

Bore da!

I've only recently started making more effort to learn more welsh and watch more on S4C. I used to watch a few things in the 90s/00s. Pam Fi Duw and Caerdydd were favourites.

I've been watching Pobol y Cwm for the last few months, I started watching when Kelly sold the cafe. I intended to watch it with welsh subtitles and not worry about the bits I didn't understand but I quickly got invested and now I watch each episode twice, first with welsh subtitles and then again with english to make sure I didn't miss anything 😂 I also watched Amgueddfa recently (with english subtitles) and really enjoyed that so I'm looking forward to finding more gems 😊

I've never mastered the art of Welsh subtitles. SadGrin

I reckon with subtitles I understand about 60% of what's being said. Without, it's more like 30% and I've got no chance with the northerners!

The one set in the Senedd was Byw Celwydd.

I'm watching Con Passionate as I didn't speak Welsh when it was first broadcast and my MIL recommended it. Not sure how well it has aged!

I love PyC.

I'm trying to find Byw Celwydd to watch again (went completely over my head first time around).

Con Passionate is entertaining but it has dated a bit now imho. Lovely to see the actors being recycled into later programmes though!

Un Nos Ola Leuad is a classic www.s4c.cymru/clic/programme/21599988

I've just seen that Caerdydd is available to watch on Clic! I'm really going to enjoy rewatching it 😊 Season 1 expires in 24 days though. I wish there was a way I could buy it and watch whenever.
