I was filling in a form for my daughter today and suddenly was unsure what to put on ethnicity.
My DD is donor conceived. Her parents are white but the donor was from a mixed background of white, Latin American and Southern European.
She is still very young and I am in the process of doing a family book to explain everything to her but what is her ethnicity? Mixed? White? She can make her mind up when she is old enough but that is a long way off.
I have dark hair and tan easily so she is not noticeably different to me although are base skin tone is a bit different.
