What information are you given about an anonymous egg donor?

If anyone has received an anonymous donor egg what information were you told about the donor ?

im assuming ill be told height / weight / hair colour /eye colour. Will I get any other information? Will I be told age for screening tests if successful?

It depends where you are having treatment and also on your clinic.

I am in early stages with London Egg Bank, they actually have a webinar about this soon, they must be quite frequent as I missed one last month.

I already have a donor conceived child via treatment in Spain, all I know is the donor's age and blood group, I also paid for extra genetic screening.

I'm looking at having treatment in the UK now for logistical reasons. I actually am not invested in the search for a donor and happy to let the clinic do that but the egg bank do have profiles to choose from.

If you already work with a clinic, ask them this exact question. Or pick some clinic in countries where donation is anonymous and send them your questions

I did it in Prague. I know donor’s height, weight, eye colour, hair colour, education, hobbies and if she’s got her own kids or not. Age was revealed only after I had a positive pregnancy test.
