non-anonymous donor egg clinic options

Hello there. After 4 failed IVFs, 5 miscarriages and an ectopic, we have spent lots of time working through the grief and debating the ethics of it all, and have decided we would like to try using donor eggs. Above anything else, as a base starting point, we would definitely like the potential child to be able to contact the donor at 18 if they would like to. We had a chat with Aria in London and they work with New Life Uk, whom we have had some details through from. The whole thing felt very positive but it is extremely expensive, and likely to add up to more as we’ve learned over the years. We are financially really pushed after all the IVF rounds so I thought it a good idea to see if there were any other options out there. We are London based but happy to travel. I have started looking into London Egg Bank which I gather works with London Women’s clinic. I’m a little confused currently about how the costs add up or how it works, how many eggs to go for etc, but am going to ring for a chat in a bit. But, other than these two places, Aria (with New Life UK) and LEB, I am struggling to see what other options there are. Our friend used Altrui a few years ago but it seems to not exist anymore, and earlier in the year when we began to start considering all this we liked the look of Appricity but that also seems to have shut down. Any suggestions of other options for non-anonymous donor egg clinics would be gratefully received, uk or abroad. Or, any experiences of the above mentioned clinics would also be very helpful too. The money is a factor as I said, but also if the experience is really positive then I think that can count for a lot too, so we’re not ruling anything out at this stage. We just are trying to gather any information we can and learn from other people’s experiences. Thank you very much in advance. x

Hi OP, we are with New Life (Tessaloniki), is your clinic part of it? For non-anonymous option we need frozen eggs, they give 3 banks to select. But we selected our egg bank before and they advised us to use New Life in Greece.
Please PM for more details

We had been with Altrui and Apricity before they suddenly closed. Now with Manchester Fertility who seem very well set up for egg donation. Would recommend based on experience so far.

One of my friends used a clinic listed on Egg Donation Friends a few years ago. I don’t remember exactly which clinic she chose, but I do remember we were discussing these two options when she shared the link with me.
