FET Protocol… unsure what to do?

Hi,

I was hoping for any advice or information of anyone going through or have been through the same.

I’m going to do a Donor Embryo FET in the next couple of months after 2 years of failed IUI and IVF.

My clinic have told me that I will have a medicated cycle and start oestrogen tablets when I get my period. These will thicken my lining and then I will start progesterone.
I’ve seen some clinics use an ovulation suppression injection but my clinic doesn’t do this for all cases.
Is this normal? Should I be asking for this?

I am doing the same protocol, the oestrogen should suppress ovulation.

@OneQuirkyPanda Thank you for your message, it’s reassuring to know others are the same. Just sows doubt when other clinics add in a suppression injection as standard.
