I wanted to jump on here and encourage anyone who has used Fairfax Cryobank to check out the facebook groups Fairfax Cryobank Families or Fairfax Cryobank World Families and see if there are any matches of other families that have used your donor. Even if you do not want extended contact with other families, it can be helpful to know these families exist in case something comes up medically. You can also check on the Donor Sibling Registry.
I'm from Canada. Even though Fairfax is widely used in the UK, they don't often show up on those facebook groups.
