Accommodation Instituto Bernabeu Alicante

Hi all, DP and I are traveling to IB Alicante in September for DE treatment. Can anyone recommend accommodation? I’m looking for something relaxed and preferably away from the hussle+bussle. I want somewhere to relax in the evening after treatment. I know I can’t have it all but I would love to be near the water if possible and have some nice restaurants nearby. I’m really open to options just now,any help would be appreciated x

Sorry I can't help but I hope you don't mind me asking... how long do you have to stay/how long does process take? Is it a frozen/fresh transfer?

Having had treatment at a different branch of IB I'd say choose the accommodation to suit you and your budget as you'll be able to get taxis to the clinic for scans etc if you need to. If you're staying outside of Alicante you may want to hire a car. Or maybe you want complete hassle free, walkable to the clinic?
You might as well have access to nice restaurants and views along with whatever your other must haves are.
Do you prefer a hotel or self-catering?
I went for treatment several times and stayed in a mix of both.
I'm just asking questions so you can think about what you want from the accommodation then someone else might know a great place to stay!

I am on my second cycle at IB in Alicante. We have stayed in the Meliá - it is lovely, a little pricey though. It's right on the beach and has gorgeous views, close to all the restaurants and old town. Taxis are easy and cheap, only a short ride away (we even walked to the clinic one time). There is a more basic hotel very close to clinic (can't remember the name) but then you're not by the beach/restaurants.
