Donor Embryo

I'm exploring the idea of donor embryos as we aren't sure if my eggs or my husband's sperm are the issue.

Has anyone used a donor embryo in the UK, and if so how long was the wait to be matched with one?

Im not in the UK, but I guess it depends more on your characteristics.
For instance, Im A+, brown eyes, brown hair, and in portugal I was matched with an embryo straight away, as brown hair and eyes, and A+ blood type are fairly common.

Ive been to 2 clinics, both had embryos available. I took some time to start the treatment, so the one clinic I ended up choosing had used the embryo they had saved for me, but straight away had another available!

Thanks for replying! Looks like it's really different in the UK then - my clinic said it'd be about a year's wait and it was very unusual.
Staying in the UK is really important to us so potential children could contact the donors in the future. I know in Spain everything's anonymous, not sure about Portugal though.

In Portugal you get to know who the donors are after 18, so the same as UK
