Cheapest place to get IUI donor sperm

Hi. 38 years old. Desperate for baby. Planning on being single mother by choice. What’s the cheapest clinic in UK? What’s the cheapest clinic in Denmark? Thinking of cost.

If you are thinking of the costs now what about after? My friend paid £3000 at the London clinic. I mean I don’t think going cheaper is always best.

Pretty sure an old friend of a friend went to Copenhagen and said it was the cheapest. This was about nine years ago. But EU is def chelate than UK

wherever you end up, its best to assume you will need multiple rounds as IUI has a pretty poor % rate for working. might make a big difference if youre using a clinic close to you rather than paying for travel every time.

You have to weigh up time Vs cost. IUI past 35 isn't recommend as the outcomes are poor, I believe around 15%. Is there a reason you haven't explored IVF? There are payment plans available for IVF to spread the cost out. With IVF the process is more controlled, and if all goes well, you can may end up with embryos which you could freeze (for more goes if not successful the first time) or try for a sibling at a later stage.

Hi @Star844. I’m interested in this too. I just spoke to a Care clinic on the phone and the true cost is 4 times the quote on the website! I’m sure you’ve thought about why you want IUI. Zita West is supposed to be cheapest in London, but that’s just the quoted price… do call and ask about extras. I’m interested in IUI with an open donor. I’ve found some clinics in DK that look interesting — Stork and Aargard. Aargard does DNA fragmentation testing on their sperm which is important to me. It’s still expensive — but seems cheaper than U.K. for good quality open donor.

We used Manchester fertility as it appeared to be the cheapest, we paid just under £5k for a 3 cycle package and that included everything needed such as tests and 3x donor sperm!

most places have you paying £850-£1500 just for one vial of sperm and do that 3 times on top of the cost of treatment and tests and it works out quite a bit!

If only we lived closer to Manchester because we have already spent over £1k on travel and we still have 1 cycle left so with added travel it wasn’t exactly cheaper by much!

You are too old for IUI at your age I would try ivf once with your eggs, and if that doesn't work go straight to donor eggs.

Oh and go to the Czech Republic cheap with excellent success rates.
