Measuring AMH levels

Hi

I'm looking into having a child as a single parent using donor sperm. I had a fertility check at Kings Fertility and found out my AMH level is 1.8, which isn't great. But since then I've found out there are two ways of measuring it pmol/l or ng/ml. My score is bad either way but I want to know which way of measuring they used. Has anyone one else been to Kings and know if they measure AMH in pmol/l or ng/ml?

Thanks!

Hi @Abracadabra12, I haven’t been to Kings but generally in the UK they measure by pmol. Did they scan you? The number of follicles on your ovaries is another good indicator of ovarian reserve.

Thanks for your reply. I only had two follicles on one ovary, and one on the other along with a mark that showed I'd ovulated on that side. So I suppose that fits in with the result being pmol/l and having very few eggs 😨
