Hi, completely confused as to my next steps. 5 failed rounds IVF, 3 resulting in miscarriage, my last two rounds of ivf were using egg donors - I had a positive result but lost both pregnancies at 5 and 9 weeks. For my last three rounds I’ve used Reprofit international in Czech - I don’t whether to continue with a fresh donor round or look for another clinic - please can you share your experiences of egg donation clinics in Czech, Spain or UK.. this next go is our last attempt so want to make sure I have explored all Avenues 🙏 ☺️

If you would consider Cyprus. I have been to there and the doc was very helpful. I don't know if he is in communication with all of his patients or just me due to my previous failed ivf cycles (as I sent him all my tests etc by finding his email through with some recommendation from some previous patients of him) After a very smooth treatment, now pregnant to twins.

I used Gennet in Prague successful first attempt and became a mum at almost 43. She's 10 in March.. best decision ever.

Good luck on your journey 🥰

I considered both Cyprus and Czech Republic- got as far as booking everything and starting the drugs only to be thwarted by COVID. I ended up using the London Egg Bank/London Women’s Clinic. It has been far the best experience all the way through from donor selection to embryo transfer. I am currently in the two week wait (we paid for six eggs, got seven - one high grade transferred and four excellent/good embryos frozen). Please feel free to DM if you have any questions

Sorry to hear this op. I had a ds at gynem with double donation but have struggled woth 3 failed transfers since then.

I would say that if you have presaged miscarriage it’s probably the lining/auto immune you might want to look at rather than the clinic or donor? I’ve been talking to Dr Sher in the US to help iron out what’s going on internally before trying again. Might be worth a bit of testing. In my experience gynem just wanted to keep using embryos and hoping for the best and weren’t interested in why they might not be taking. I know it’s painful but being methodical to iron out any why nots can be helpful.

For example, Sher said a transfer shouldn’t take place woth less than 9mm lining. I’ve always been told 7mm. He said diluted viagra is a simple and effective way to plump up lining. He has been done long ivf since it started in eighties and a consult is v reasonable.

Hi, hope you don't mind me asking but could I ask when you told your daughter they were donor conceived and how you navigated through that with an anonymous donor? I'd really appreciate the advice thank you xx

JB366 is that for me? I haven’t YET they’ve not done full blown sex education in school yet she’s only year 5.
I honestly don’t know how I’ll approach it but I’ve picked up a kids book that may help. What I will tell her is I wanted her so much and this was our only option. She’s my world and my forever friend.
is it something you’re considering?
