DE with parters high DNA frag sperm

Hello

We've been trying for 2 years, I'm 34 and have very low AMH 2.1 and an AFC of 5. I never seem to get more than 1 egg a month. We're thinking about starting the process of DE as that seems to be how a lot do women in my situation end up having their babies and I'm so tired of trying I just want to move forward.

I've pretty much come to terms with using DE and was ready to start the process in a couple of months, but we've just found out my husband has high DNA frag at 37%. All his other sperm tests have come back good so this was quite a shock. We saw a urologist and did more tests and there is no reason for this result so we're trying to lower with diet and lifestyle, but as he's not too bad now I'm worried the diet won't lower it enough.

I would really like to try to make our baby with his sperm if we can. But how do we take the massive risk of moving forward with this knowing the sperm isn't perfect?

There is some confusing information out there, some studies say that DE as they're younger and 'stronger' than mine can actually 'fix' his sperm and make a healthy baby. Some say it still leads to problems. I don't think ICSI alone would help but PICSI might. Our Urologist said there isn't enough information to say for sure as it's an area not given enough research.

Just wondering if anyone else has been in a similar position and what they did? Just trying to figure out how we can move forward.
