How many attempts with donor eggs before success?

How many donor egg cycles/transfers did it take for you to have a baby? Was this was fresh or frozen eggs?
I've recently had one failed fresh transfer and looking for hope that this doesn't mean that it won't work for me. Also trying to get a realistic gauge on how many cycles I should expect to do.

Mine was my 3rd

Fresh DET failed
Fresh DET singleton MC
Fresh DET singleton live birth

The 3rd transfer was my first blast transfer

First fresh transfer worked. Just had our first frozen transfer to try for number 2 and am 5 weeks now. But after so many miscarriages I won't consider it a success until they are here. Good luck.

Third time lucky for me.

• Fresh eggs, fresh DET, day 2, failed (literally only had two embryos that were doing anything to speak of so the double day-2 transfer was pretty much a 'better in than out' strategy)
• Fresh eggs, fresh SET, day 5, failed, nothing to freeze
• Frozen eggs, fresh SET, day 5, success, four in the freezer

From various forums etc it seems to be either first time lucky or 3 or more attempts. Was hoping to find lots of second transfer success stories but these seems rare!
If anyone who had multiple attempts changed anything (other than egg donor) and got success I'd be really interested to hear.

One frozen blast for ds - currently waiting to see if second frozen fet will give us a sibling for him.
