IUI cost etc

Hi mums! I’m looking to try for my second baby in the coming year through IUI (single woman not wanting a partner etc). I’ve looked into it and this is definitely the route I want to take. I have no fertility issues apart from missing a vital part of baby making!
I just wondered if anyone knows how you actually pay for IUI once you’re set up at the clinic. Do you pay upfront, is it a payment plan or do you pay in advance.
Thank you😊

Hi babymama. I am currently going though the iui process and we paid privately. With our clinic you can pay as you go for bloods, tests, etc and they also offer a payment plan. Check out your local fertility clinic and see what their website says. It should also have a price guide.

I'm not aware of any clinics that do payment plans although it's likely to be staggered as below

Investigations and consultation £500
Hycosy if required £500
Donor sperm £1,200
Meds if required £200
IUI £900

All approx of course

Hi I have had a successful iui 2 years ago and due to have another iui in next month or two it's best decision I ever made I did it as a single woman

Hi, im a single woman and have decided to go down the IUI route too. Im on my first cycle trying at the moment (currently on gondal-f injections and have my follicle scan on Thursday). With my clinic you pay in advance or on the day for each phase but after the initial consultation I knew roughly the costs to expect. The hardest thing for me was deciding how much donor sperm to purchase and trying to way up chance of sucess and costs involved. Im still a bit nervous on going it alone but it's reassuring I'm not the only single lady out there doing it
