IUI and anxiety medication

My husband and I are having fertility treatment using donor sperm, I'm on citalopram for anxiety 20mg. Has anyone else ever took antidepressants/anti anxiety meds while TTC?

I'm on amitryptiline for migraines and I believe this is also an anti-depressant. The consultant said it wasn't an issue for IVF though despite the GP saying it wasn't recommended in pregnancy. But I believe it's just because they don't do much testing on pregnant women for these specific drugs is why it's not recommended because they don't actually know if and how it will affect the feotus.

You need to speak to your doctor to check, but as far as I know - while they are are some (very very small) risks with Citalopram, generally Doctors say that the rewards of a healthier, happier mother far out way the tiny potential risk to the baby.
