Egg donors

Hello everyone,
My husband & I are in the early stages of seeking an egg donor following a recent failed IVF cycle. I have been told that I am CMV negative (which puts me in the minority) Are there any CMV negative donors out there- we are UK based. Also, we have advised to advertise privately for a donor as this may speed up the process for us. Are there any website that you would suggest we use to advertise specifically for CMV negative donors? Many thanks & I look forward to hearing from some of you Xxx

I didn’t want to read and not reply I can’t help you with donors and how to recruit one as such - but I am a recipient of Donor Eggs and now have twin boys who are 14m old.

I looked into it in the Uk and did visit a couple of clinics but they said the wait could be up to 6 months we spoke to several clinics both abroad and in the uk and finally found a good match for us , we chose a greek clinic we met them in the November at the fertility show , told them to start the ball rolling looking for a donor in the Jan , for donor details by the end of feb and we started the cycle march and had transfer mid April , unfortunately that didn’t work , the next one did but I miscarries , the following one didn’t work at all the fourth transfer resulted in our twins.

I can honestly say that the process was very quick and we were waiting long at all unlike the UK

I am unsure why CMV is so can’t comment on that part but just wanted to share my story incase it helped at all.
