Hey Guys! Right so my and my partner are trying for a baby and we had our first ever donation on the 29/01/20 which we tested a smile on a ClearBlue Ovulation stick! So our donor came on that day and also fab a 2nd donation on the 31/02/20.

So today makes 5 days since our first donation and my partner has had little cramps and also found brownish discharge (sorry) also she felt really tired like she was coming down with something but not is okay? Could this be early pregnancy symptoms or would you think it’s early for period? She is not due for another 2 weeks

Well if she doesn't normally come on early, then it could be a positive sign.

Be hopeful, but remember if it doesn't work this time, this is only your first try and there's nothing to suggest that it won't work eventually.

In the kindest possible way, you'll drive yourself mad doing this. 5 days is sooo early to be symptom spotting.

Try and play the long term game. Its better for your mental health than putting yourself on a rollercoaster of ups and downs as early as 5 days after insemination.

Yeahh that’s what we both said. We just going to wait and I think maybe we are over thinking but I have seen loads of people saying 5dpo they have had implantation bleeding so was just curious :)

Also you might want to think about having donations earlier in future attempts. The sperm live a lot longer than the egg so having them ready and waiting before ovulation is ideal.
