Hello over the last year I have been looking in to having a baby with donor sperm. Has anyone one here got any advice on how to weed out the crazy’s and what sites do people use. Thank you

Hi,
I haven’t got many tips other than keep searching. I was regularly looking through Facebook for a donor, but recently have been offered help by a close friend.
Hopefully this will be my first cycle TTC via AI.
Hoping you get some more advice and wishing you lots of luck and baby dust!
Lou x

Hello I'm going down the same route as you and have spent 3 years going though all the odd balls, been scammed on a few donor pages online so please be carful on the coparenting website, apart from that good luck!!!
How old are you I'm still young so haven't had the best support sometimes on some of the posts I put up about donor sperm lol but I personally think it's a good route to go down, i now no my donor very well after years of talking and have full medical history and been assured that any future history will be passed over to me to, you'll no when you've found the right one :)

There are also a few notorious donors on FB groups, which you need to be careful of or it may not be an issue for you! X

We found ours on co-parents.co.uk but it does take some work to find someone savoury! Just like dating I suppose haha.

I also found mine on co-parents, I guess I was fortunate and didn’t really come across any weirdos. I’ve had some dubious messages via Facebook groups. So I’d be tempted to stay away from those.

Well sadly my donor has let me down so I will be joining you on a search for a decent donor! X
