Donor conception

Where to begin?

Hello. My husband and I (both of us are 42) went through two IVF cycles last year: the first ended in miscarriage last February and the second was cancelled in September as I failed to respond to treatment. It has taken a long time and a lot of heartache for us both to get back to anything like normality, but things are slowly getting better with time. As I'm sure is the case for many people, we totally wrote off the idea of using an egg donor when our consultant first suggested it and started trying to get used to the idea of a childless future. However, six months down the line I'm not so sure, and would like to do some research so that we can make an informed decision. There are two elements to this: (1) I'd like to talk to others who've been in a similar situation, and (2) the options of where to go for treatment seem overwhelming, so I'd be grateful for any recommendations of how to begin looking. Thanks in advance for any responses Smile

Look at the Czech Republic for clinics and the Donor Conception Network for experiences.
