Hi everyone - my donor's egg collection will be any day now, so I'm incredibly nervous and feel my stress levels rising. I keep thinking about it and feeling that surge of adrenaline through my body - that's bad, right?

It doesn't help that I had an endometrial thickness scan on Friday and it's only 6mm . . . I do not have a good feeling about this Confused

Anyone else starting a cycle?

Hi

We are slightly behind you as our donor's estimated week of collection is W/c 18/06 but I would love to buddy up even if you just want to chat!!

Also this thread has been invaluable to me, we've just gone into thread 12

#makeithappen TTC through Donor IUI or Donor IVF or just undecided. All welcome. Thread 12http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/donor_conception/3258275-makeithappen-ttc-through-donor-iui-or-donor-ivf-or-just-undecided-all-welcome-thread-12

Hi Button Grin

Thank you for responding - is this your first DE IVF cycle?

Egg collection was today; am on tenterhooks wondering how many eggs they've collected/fertilised . . .

Are you having your treatment in the UK?

Yes in UK and first cycle using DE. We have secondary infertility, DS is nearly 7. We have had a very long journey to get here including an awful experience with our local clinic, we are currently trying to claim our money and compensation from them. We had one failed cycle trying to use my own eggs

Eeekkkk exciting that your donor has had her eggs collected, fingers crossed they are all doing what they are supposed to be right now!! Do you know how many they collected?

TiredAndIrrational · 25/05/2018 20:39

So I just got news today that thirteen eggs were collected and twelve were fertilised.

I need to do some googling as to whether that's good or not . . .

Do you really need to google? That sounds amazing!!

Hi Button - embryo transfer is scheduled for tomorrow! Out of the twelve embryos, five are developing well and seven are slower - I'm not sure what's happening with the slow ones, hopefully I'll find out tomorrow if there are any worth freezing. I just need two little babies-to-be to hang in there but some to freeze would be an amazing bonus.

How are you? Do you have a treatment schedule?
