Egg donation + surrogate

Would someone out there be able to help us have a child

I have heard of a woman who couldn't find a surrogate who could also be her egg donor, as she wanted the baby to look fairly like her and couldn't find anyone in that category who was also willing to be a surrogate. However, this was someone I chatted to in a clinic waiting room, so I don't know more than that - but maybe someone else on here will?

Forgive me if this is something really obvious you've tried, but is it worth searching clinics more widely? I was surprised by the huge differences in terms of donors on their books, and you might even find you could be matched with a donor who'd also be a surrogate.

Have you asked your family and friends? I would be willing to do this for someone who meanta lot to me.
