Ivf with donor egg

Hi I'm thinking of using a donor egg ivf treatment as iv had three failed ivf with my eggs but not sure which clinic is best to use for this treatment can anyone advise me on this please

None of the above has any scientific evidence. Ignore it. I had a double g and t and a sangria the night before my sev9nd transfer. The result is asleep upstairs with his cuddly bunny.

It’s also nonsense because if you’re using donor eggs, doing a load of non scientific crap aimed at supposedly improving your own egg quality is pointless at best and a pain in the arse, unnecessarily stressful waste of money at worst.

Obviously by virtue of the fact that you’re using donor eggs, the quality of your own eggs is irrelevant as are all measures which are supposedly going to improve them.

I already have a son sleeping upstairs conceived using donor eggs and donor sperm and about to have a frozen embryo transfer at the end of the month using one of the other embryos which are full siblings to my son and had all my treatment in harley street London, brilliant place and I recommend it to everyone

We went to Care in Northampton. One round netted 5 blastocysts. 2 transferred fresh cycle gave me my son and 2 transferred in a frozen cycle gave me my daughter 18 months later.

I went to Serum in Greece. Had double donor treatment back in September. 5AA blasts created, 2 transferred, 1 took, 30 weeks pregnant. Baby girl due at end of May. They are fab. Not sure if you were looking to go abroad but I can certainly recommend Serum. Very professional, kind and great customer service.

We used the Lister Hospital for egg donation IVF - they were fantastic, and we have a gorgeous DD.

I have a one year old conceived at age 45 through donor egg treatment at Reprofit International in Brno, Czech Republic. They were absolutely awesome and so professional. I had had two (very expensive) rounds of donor IVF here in NZ both of which produced nothing and the first transfer I had there - boom! They were gentle and quick and extremely efficient. I have four extra embryos there which am possibly going to use one next year. The great thing about using donor eggs is that they are nice and healthy, for example my Ob told me that at age 45 chances of down syndrome are 1 in 30 whereas my donor egg (age 19) chances are 1 in 1500. Hi. I've just registered with Altrui for donor eggs. Has any one else used them and if so, how long did it take for them to find a donor please? I have fair skin and brown hair so hopefully not to tricky to find a match.

Would really welcome your advice if you've gone through the process. x

MirandaOs2018 I read on another thread that a lady had paid a significant sum to Altrui and had not got a match. I'm not sure why people use this service and not just an fertility clinic who will find you a good match anyway.

On July 6 I have my embryo transfer, all the test went well, according to my doctor all the re result was good and I have a chance of getting pregnant, I was advise by my doctor I just do blood test, I have blood tests yesterday but for the meantime I have urine test but is nagative, pls advise.

The blood test will provide you HGC levels which will tell you if you are pregnant or not. It will be too early to tell with a home test although my levels were so high that my home test was positive. You just have to be patient and wait.

Cutesbabasmummy. I think people use alturi rather than just use a fertility clinic because many of the clinics only offer donor eggs through their egg share program whereas with alturi there is the possibility of having an exclusive donor. That was certainly the case when we looked into it.
