Using a donor embryo at 50/51

I am 50 a few months off of turning 51 we have been in the adoptive process for 5 years which has been awful tbh and still no child.
We had decided to adopt rather than go down the IVF route 5 years ago as we thought we could help give a disadvantaged child a home.

Recently we have been considering using a donor embryo. I still have a regular cycle and am in good health though a couple of stone overweight. I had a miscarriage 6 years ago using Clomid and have several fibroids which can give me heavy periods and be a bit uncomfortable around my period.

We would go to Cyprus to a good clinic where they are used to older women and IVF. I am a bit concerned however about my age and risks. If you google women of my age and pregnancy the advice spans from should be ok with good medical support to potentially pretty dangerous.

Do you know of other women who have been successful at my age and how did their pregnancies go?

There was a thread the other day with lots of late 40s mums.

I have heard that the latest spontaneous pregnancy in UK was 51, so with treatment/donor egg it might well be possible?

Good luck.
