Siblings conceived using different donors

Hi there. I am a solo parent to a 2 year old conceived via IUI using a sperm donor. I am trying to have another child and for circumstances that have just come to light, and may be litigious so I can't say too much about them, I may have to consider using a different donor, which is a lot to process. Has anyone here had siblings using different donors and if so please would you share your experience with me? Thank you in advance x

Yes, I have. What would you like to know?

I don't see any difference in using different donors as to women having children with different men. Technically they are half-siblings but that's enough. I think it's much less of a "thing" now that it was some decades ago! Though I lost my son to SIDS, his little sister is a half-sibling by donor, and the next will, possibly, be a different donor again if the original does not agree to help me again. I haven't even really thought about it.

I suppose the REASON for using a different donor may be the real issue behind your worry, and whether that is something you ought to bring up with your 2 year old (in due time) or not.
