Hi Everyone

After advice please

Ex Husband, co parent, is dating a new woman.

she is not single she is still married

Shes cheating on her husband with my children’s father

she’s been in and out of my daughters lives (both under 8) - seeing her kiss daddy and hanging out

ive told him this is not acceptable - she is not your girlfriend as she is not available and they stopped for 3 months

ifs started up again as my daughter told me that daddy was kissing her again when she came over

what do I do?! This can’t be good for my daughters to see

pursue who you wish. I do not care. But don’t bring the children into it surely????

You can’t control his behaviour unfortunately.

Obviously you could tell her DH if you know who he is, but do you really want to?

Obviously scummy behaviour - but you have no right to veto who your ex dates or how he conducts himself romantically, in front of your children or otherwise, so long as it’s within the bounds of the law. You can just express your disgust and emphasise how damaging this is for the children - if you already said it and he is back at the affair, he doesn’t care about the effect on the kids.

I don’t think your daughters seeing daddy kiss his girlfriend is going to be too upsetting for them. I don’t think the dad or the girlfriend will have told the children she is married to someone else either so they won’t be upset by that.

Not moral or ideal but shouldn’t hurt the kids too much.
