I am also in Wales. Have you called Refuge? Places like lidl and Morrisons have baskets after the tills with food people have donated. Speak with staff or just go pick some stuff up from there, perhaps? Can you download the Olio app - people there sometimes put free food up and you can also upload wanted items. If you have some cash, the To good to go app also has reduced food groceries. Depending on your area Greggs is really good for their bags with lots of sandwiches etc for £3. I don’t want to ask which end of Wales you are in as it can be outing

Speak to your children’s schools in confidence on Monday. Firstly, because there will be other struggling parents in the school community and the pastoral team will know where to refer you for practical help; secondly, because your children will also be traumatised and it’s important that they can be supported by teachers and support staff.

What sort of temporary accommodation is it? Is there a service coordinator or housing officer whose details you have? Do you have food in the house for the weekend? If you don’t, contact the local authority social work out of hours number. In emergencies where you all need to be fed, they can help.
