Has anyone been to court for their divorce recently?
I have the first appointment in a few weeks. My solicitor isnt able to come as she is in another court that day.
She has suggested I get a barrister, but the fees are over £1000.
Ive been told that the first appointment is an admin hearing really. Where they check all the documents etc. So, do I really need a barrister? Could I do it myself, once the solicitor has drawn up all the paperwork etc?
