When and what made u realise there was no hope for your relationship ?

It was neither of those things for me.

I had agreed to move to a different country (years prior) and was all set to do so. Then an unfortunate set of circumstances meant that I felt obligated to stay - at least in the short-term. I never went.

Relationships don't always end badly.
