Chat with husband

How did you start the chat with your husband and tell him you were leaving him and want a divorce did you move out off the houes as well as i am going to have the chat and donnt know where to start

What’s the background to it?

Is this going to be coming to him completely
put of the blue?

Or have you had lots of conversations before about not being happy and you’ve tried to improve things but now you need to tell him that it’s definitely over?

Given what you have said about your H and how he behaves towards you it sounds as though you would be better off seeking legal advice and making your plans for the future before telling him you are going to divorce.

I had everything lined up already - did some serious planning

Then you’ve just got to pick a moment - ideally when they’re not about to eg go to work, but equally perhaps midweek so they can speak to a lawyer the next day - and you just need to come out with it. Feels awkward but satisfying to be done
