Transfer after consent order

Hi I’d like advice on transferring some money to my ex husband if anyone can help?

As part of my consent order on divorce I paid a lump sum to my ex husband then and another smaller lump sum was due in two years. I am now due to pay this smaller lump sum and wonder if I need to do this through a solicitor or can I just transfer it over? There is nothing stipulated in the order.

We just did a transfer account to account. The court wasn’t involved at all apart to get the paperwork because you need that for the pension transfer
