Confused about MIAM

hi.. do we have to go to an MIAM?
D81 and P1 filled in amicably. Form A seems to say we have to go.
I’m on UC, can I get help with costs if I have to go?
thanks

No
we did not

We did and found out after we didn't have too - massive waste of money if you are in agreement. They can't even offer advice which is what we thought we were going for.

We haven’t, we agreed completely on the split.

Thanks for replies.
Did you fit the criteria to not attend because we don’t?
How can we fill in form A? Any advice please?

I don’t understand the question. If you are applying for a consent order the section on MIAMS doesn’t apply?

The Conditional order is about to go through.
The MIAM I’m meaning is for the financial order (sorry for confusion)

If you are amicable surely you need a consent order for your finances and not a financial order? Consent orders are for the finances where you agree. A financial order is where you don’t and need a judge to decide which is why they want mediation first.

A Consent Order is different to the Conditional order. Are you sure you’ve understood the process?
