Hi. Just wondering whether anyone can help please. My ex-husband and I have been using App Close for three years, as recommended by our mediator when we began going through a difficult divorce and subsequent court proceedings. My query is that I don’t know what he is doing but I often know he has read a message (because he’ll return the necessary item or whatever) and yet sometimes it doesn’t show as read. He has used this at times to manipulate a situation and will then conveniently choose to avoid or ignore important communications altogether. It is almost like he can sometimes see the full message previewed, without opening the app, just as I can do with other messaging services. I can’t see a way of doing this with AppClose on my iPhone. He has an android, so perhaps it is different? Can anyone please shed any light on this for me. Things are so toxic anyway and I feel increasingly controlled by him and his partner, so it’s really unsettling me. Thank you.
