The court has received the draft consent order which went in 3 Sept, and advised its with the judge for review, letter dated 15 Sept.

The court address said Harlow and they wrote to advise my stbx but not to me! Is this usual?

Im on tenterhooks waiting, waiting and waiting….

Oh the waiting is absolutely horrible, I feel your pain as I went through all this in April. Hang on in there, mine took 33 days to be signed off. Still having to live with the selfish though while the house sells 🙄

@notmypeasnotmyallotment I know right! There is only so many quotes you can tell yourself - what doesn't kill you makes you stronger - patience is a virtue - let them, let me - It's just too much!

Oh no - feel your pain there, have you been on the market long? Had a handful of viewers however none converting to a sale. Is the market dead? At this rate the MH will sell for less then we paid for it or will still be living together Xmas 2026 😯

My current mantra is 'this won't be forever' lol its not helping much when he is being such an arse, you'd think I was the one who had cheated for 6yrs but there you go.

House has been on the market since August but is listed too high (again the Ex not wanting to lower) So no house viewings so far but have got one booked in for Wednesday, so fingers crossed but I'm not getting my hopes up, I imagine I will still be there next year.

But luckily I met someone lovely and amazing 5 months ago who absolutely adores me (and me him) something my ex never did, I also worked with him years ago so I know him well. Luckily he has his own place and no ex's or kids, so I often stay at his, its the only thing that makes the situation bearable. Especially as my Ex regularly bring the OW into my house grrrrrrrrrrrr but thats a whole other thread haha

@notmypeasnotmyallotment he brings the OW in the house 😮I mean I know in the end people move on but holy cow not sure how I'd even cope in that situation so kudos to you! Thank god you have somewhere to go, it's really hard sharing the house still, I loathe it.

Dropped price of house, no bites at all. Although it did prompt a neighbour to take theirs off the market meaning no more competition within 1/2 mile, so silver linings.

Did some work today on the ongoing spreadsheet that tracks the monthly payments, mortgage owing etc etc - there is a page I created for working out the equity split figures that went into the consent order (which is currently with the judge). Realised today that dropping the price of the house on rightmove and realistically having to accept a low offer in the future means the proposed equity split is based on a property valuation that is now out of date, the result is the split of assets during the marriage is now more unequal (in his favour 57/43) I already agreed to take less to offset the pension by taking a larger share of equity which may not make it past the judge (there is a chance of that as his pension is 10x mine). Wondering what to do because I've signed it now...

Consent Order approved! I'll be able to press the button next week on the final order.

Oh yay really pleased for you!

Yes bringing the ow in the house isn't pleasant, the kids hte it and have told him, he also takes her to family events and gets upset with them when they don't want to attend but I warned him to be careful how he introduces her and I'm staying out of it (they are both over 18)

I decided I will not waste my energy getting angry about his behaviour, I don't want to waste anymore time with that.

Had 2 positive house viewings just this week so I'm concentrating on that and looking forward to my new life 😌

As for pensions you really should have got CETVs but again if you go to court you end up spending thousands and thousands so sometimes it easier and less expensive to just sign and get on with things x
