Being financially squeezed

Im currently going through a divorce, at the stage of agreeing finances.
Fled DV to live with parents. Exh arrested and remains under investigation.
CAO sorted out. Exh was the main earner.
Im struggling with finances currently. I have been left to shoulder all bills of the FMH despite not being able to live there. Exh pays no contribution but pays basic rate CM.
Agreement was (never in writing) that he would pay council tax and i would pay water, gas and electric which ive done. We both pay 50% of mortgage.
Had a bill today for over £2000 of council tax. I believe its jointly liable? So looks like im going to have to pay this.
Does anyone have any advice on how i can manage this? Ive read about maintenence pending suit but im not sure if its worth it.
I guess its a case of setting up payment plans. I may need to go interest only to pay the mortgage?
In a bit of a pit tonight, divorce seems to never end with a exh who refuses to engage.
Any words of wisdom appreciated.

You don't pay bills for somewhere you don't live.
He could turn up the heating to 30C and leave the water running to spite you. Get them moved to his name.
With the council tax its a bit more complicated.
Personally if I had evidence, I would phone the council, tell them you moved out on x date, let them bill you to that date and then get the bill moved to his name.
That will lessen the liability.
These actions will have consequences but he is continuing to abuse you.
What would happen if you stopped paying 'your' 50% of the mortgage. You are both joint and severally liable but you can't live there.

Ive contacted water and gas and electric - those bills have been sorted.
He doesnt go to the house anymore (cameras)
Council tax were no help at all and said as its an empty property its classed as a second home so I also have to pay a premium.
I paid the bill, he wont engage with estate agents to sell the home.
They went after him for payment but he doesnt care, so they came to me. Seems they go after whoever its easier to get the money off.
He is breaking me.
