Hi my application for a conditional order was sent to the court on the 12th August 2025. How long did it take for you to get the conditional order granted.? Thankyou

I might be wrong but I think it was 4-6 months? But after the final order button was clicked it was 12 hours!

I know that it’s 6 weeks and 1 day from the conditional order being granted to the final order but I wondered how long it takes from applying for the conditional order to the conditional order being granted.

My conditional order was applied for 3rd July, I was told I would hear back about court date 28th August. I heard back 30th July to say conditional order will be pronounced (read out) in Birmingham Court 14th August. Then it’s a 6 week 1 day wait until you can apply for final order so I have 20 days to go!!! Good luck

So just to clarify - from applying to it being granted was a total of 6 weeks

I applied for my Conditional Order in early April this year. It took five weeks to receive the email telling me when the order would be read out in court and it was actually read out in court three weeks after that. So, eight weeks in total from applying for the Conditional Order to receiving it and I received the order a few hours after it was read out in court.

Applied 17th July, granted at Birmingham 28th Aug and can apply for final order from 10th Oct (once consent order has been approved which went off this week and advised it will take 4-6 weeks).
