Myself and my partner have been in a rough patch for a very long time now. We have tried pretty much everything but it’s just not getting any better.
we have 2 young children. Our second was premature and had some health issues afterwards which caused a lot of tension and was a hard time.
we are not intimate and there is a lot of resentment my end with just day to day things. Things that people will say ‘it’s just men’ but honestly it’s not. It’s pure laziness.

my savings went into the house and children as I lost my job through Covid with my first baby. I work part time and partner full time.
How do you make it work if you have to leave a relationship and start again? Mentally, financially? What do you do? If we split I just have no idea where to start with things. I wouldn’t make enough atm for rent, bills etc all on my own? I just feel so burnt out with it all. I know it’s minor compared to other peoples situations but advice is welcome.

I feel your pain, myself & partner have just separated after 14years together & he’s left the house & moved into his family’s house about 15 miles away & now our daughter 12 nearly…has decided she wants to go & live with him..so I get how you overwhelmingly this can all be x

You have to start making a plan - step at a time - you’d have to work full time - that’s a given really when you separate and lose an entire income into the family (the higher one) check what benefits you’d be entitled to like universal credit etc
