Cheap review of Form E?

I have to complete a Form E (ish, it’s the mediation company’s own version that’s similar but in places wants more).
Not for court, just to exchange before we start financial mediation.
I’m ok at maths/forms but feel I should get someone to check it over and discuss re legal/strategy. Eg things like putting in what capital/income you will need, where it’s not black and white clear fact. And then I may need advice between sessions as ex has form for being demanding/unreasonable.
Do I have to pay a solicitor for this, or are there cheaper alternatives like Mackenzie friends and what is it likely to cost me? We are not rich, it’s just a house, debts and pensions.

Yes you need to instruct a solicitor's firm for this type of advice but they will have staff with various hourly rates. Some legal executives who have practised for years may have more experience and lower rates than junior solicitors so can be more cost effective.

Thank you @Spirallingdownwards. I hope things take a turn upwards for you.

Have a look at amicable, they have reasonable priced advice and support, without racking up £££

Thank you. It has been anything but amicable so far and ex insisted on mediation and I think I need independent advice to ensure I don’t lose out.
