Ex refusing to sign divorce papers

I’m just after any advice really. My ex has been sent the divorce papers twice and just will not sign them. We have been separated for almost 6 years. He has now moved, doesn’t see our children (his choice) and I have no idea where he is living. Anyone else been in this situation or have any advice? I just want this done now.

Who has sent the papers? A Court can be asked to do this and they might be delivered by hand. If the Court decides the application has been received by your ex, the divorce can proceed I believe. Costs can be awarded against the ex. So it’s court next I think.

do you have his email address? Can ask court to serve via email as long as you can prove email has been active recently (any recent emails) have you any proof whatsoever he has the papers? Even if a text or WhatsApp. If so can apply for deemed service fill in d11 saying you have proof but he is not responding. My deemed service was accepted within 2.5 weeks I had email from proving she had divorce papers but had no time to sign then and for me to progress after the timeframe. Divorce then proceeds to next stage as if they’ve responded
