Conditional Order Advice

Hi - I applied for conditional order 3 weeks ago and 3rd July. How long is it realistically going to take to get a court date.

You have applied for a ‘conditional order’. The court will check your application and send it to a judge. If the judge agrees that you should get a divorce, they will grant your entitlement to a conditional order and ‘pronounce’ it in court. You will receive an email by 28 August 2025 after your application has been checked. This will have the time, date and court your conditional order will be pronounced.

Is there any reason as to why a judge would not agree that I should get a divorce?

Has anyone had their conditional order not approved? And for what reasons ?

Mine was four weeks till I got the email telling me when it would be pronounced, then another four weeks till the pronouncement date. So eight weeks in total.
Ive never heard of an application for a CO refused. I suppose theoretical reasons why one might be refused could include (for example) that the marriage wasn’t valid in the first place? But I’m pretty sure it practically never happens.

Last year - I applied 5th May, accepted 20th May, heard In court 5th June. Think it’s just procedural.

Ah - wish I'd searched now because you answered my question! That does seem like a very long time.
