Hello, does anyone have any current timescales on these (Birmingham have been dealing if that makes any difference)?

6-12 months to obtain one if court involvement is needed.

If both parties agree, it can be a matter of weeks.

Mine was only 33 days but we submitted it together and it was a 50/50 spilt (Birmingham)

Thank you that's really helpful! I think we'll be very close to 50/50, possibly a little out to account for a bigger pension.

I applied to family court for a financial order at the beginning of December 2024. The first hearing (Directions) was at the beginning of March 2025. It had to be adjourned until mid April 2025 as my husband couldn't get into the hearing which happened in March, which was online, due to technical difficulties. 😡😨The second hearing (Financial Dispute Resolution - FDR) is now listed for the end of October 2025. I think this second hearing will be a waste of time as my husband has yet to make a full financial disclosure and I can't see him doing so between now and October 😡. I am pretty sure the case will need to go to a final hearing which probably won't take place until roughly the Summer of 2026 due to family court backlogs. 😡😰Hopefully you have a better experience.

Thank you @Iwanttobreakfree2 I'm hopeful when we submit that it will be a consent order but let's see . . . .

Can you make an application for disclosure?

You can make an application for disclosure but despite my husband being told to disclose by the courts - he never did
