Hi all,

Now I know the 20 weeks reflection and then you can submit the financial consent order bits but what I am wondering is how long has it typically taken from submitting your application to the courts acknowledging the application. Google tells me an average of 28 days but I just wanted to gauge others experiences please.

TIA

I applied last November and it took exactly 7 days for the court to process the application and send it to my husband.

Thank you.

Are you nearing the end now?

I received the conditional order in divorce about a month ago and I could, in theory, apply for the final order on 9th July. However, the matrimonial finances are a very long way from being sorted. We are having to go down the Financial Remedy Proceedings route in family court. We have the second financial hearing scheduled for the end of October. However, I strongly suspect that the case will need to go to a final hearing, which I guess may well not happen until next summer. 😨😰I hope that your ex is more cooperative than mine.

Oh that sounds very stressful. Will soon find out how cooperative he is, although he won't be able to afford court I don't think.
