The irony of hearing this on a podcast my ex loved isn't lost on me but maybe that's a subtle sign haha
Justin Hawkins from The Darkness was on Fuelling Around and he was talking about parenting his daughter. He called being with his ex a disaster, but his daughter was the triumph from that. I feel like that many of us going through a separation will relate to that.
He's not been with the mother for a while so, as someone who's only been separated for under a year, it weirdly gave me a bit of hope about my relationship with my kids in the future, but also the relationship they can have with their father once he's sorted himself out.
Either way, with so much negativity in the world right now, thought it would be nice to share a nice story of a dad discussing how much he loves his kid.
