Mums who moved out of the martial house that have got kids and your husband started how did it work out was it the best thing you did

I moved out, actually to live with my parents, two kids came with me. Ex still in jointly owned home and year on. So that is annoying but at least the house is increasing in price, now have a solicitor to deal with that as the kid's side of thjngs is done for now.

Honestly... the fresh start, no links/memories, we decorated how me and the kids wanted which they loved, he can't hold it over my head. It worked out so well. In my case it was a temporary measure originally but now going to be staying as it just works. Kids are so happy, I was worried they would see their other home as their proper home, abd Ex tries to push that, but my kids see this as their home far more than their home with daddy. It was a real worry of mine though.
