Hi, I’m looking for some recommendations for a solicitor that could help me. I live near Whitchurch in Shropshire. I have no transport and am wondering if it can be done either via phone or video chat?

Solicitors have to carry out ID checks which can cause an issue as they need to see original ID documents. I'm sure there are ways around this, i.e. posting documents, but it's not ideal. If you possibly can, I'd advise a face to face meeting, but just ring a few and ask the question . . ..

I’ve only met with my solicitor online (local company but has been more convenient). They did ID checks via a specific portal where I uploaded my documents.
