Can He Move Back In?

Hi , looking for some advice, on behalf of a friend, yes really.
My friend is divorced but they have not got a financial agreement in place and the family home is still up for sale. Her ex had moved out into rented accommodation and has been there for around 6 months but his landlord is selling up so he has told my partner he is going to move back to the family home. Can he do this?

Is it still his house too? If yes, then yes.

Yes he still owns half of the house I guess, but he is abusive and threatening so my friend is scared of having him in the same house, I guess the only other option is for her to move out then.

If he is abusive and the abuse is reported then she may be able to prevent him legally so that is an avenue to look into, she needs legal advice.

If he is owner of the house even in part then yes.
